We are getting our goats (...and sheep)

Our new occupancy survey crew is fantastic...get a load of these stats after only 4 trips into the backcountry:

91 miles hiked per person
35,820 feet in elevation gain per person
17 days
13 nights
1,000,000,000's bugs

and a total of 69 very valuable sheep and goat group observations!

Still an entire summer to go...

    That is just under 400 ft elevation gain per mile hiked.

    That's around 11 million bugs per mile! An entomologist's dream.
